Kailey Lightner Death, Obituary: A resident of Portland, Michigan Kailey Lightner has died

The unexpected and terrible death of one of its own, Kailey Lightner, has left the town of Portland, Michigan, in mourning. The sudden death of Kailey devastated her friends and family. The local community has shown her an immense amount of love and support since hearing of her passing.

Community member Darcey Lover posted on Facebook’s “Portland Michigan Community Page” to thank her neighbors for their generosity and kindness. “This community has exceeded my expectations! Love has been flowing out in such an amazing way! In just a few short hours, the dinner train has filled up fully,” she wrote. In order to lessen the financial strain on Kailey’s family during this trying time, she also published a link to a fundraising. She also urged people to keep sharing and making donations.

The need for support was repeated in a another post on the website, which said, “If you can, please think about helping Kailey’s family.” Tragically, Kailey passed away in Portland, Ionia County, last evening. Please remember her family in your prayers and thoughts.
