Dashani Broomfield identified as the 21-year-old Stevens County man dies in motorcycle crash near Airway Heights

Dashani M. Broomfield, 21, of Stevens County, Washington, died in a horrific motorbike crash on Tuesday night close to Airway Heights. The Washington State Patrol (WSP) reports that Broomfield’s motorbike collided with a car on Highway 2 close to Brooks Road, resulting in the deadly collision.

According to the authorities, Broomfield was driving east on Highway 2 when a car coming from the west tried to turn left onto Brooks Road, causing the two cars to collide. Broomfield was declared dead at the scene of the collision because of the impact’s intensity, even though he was wearing a helmet at the time.

Although the WSP is currently looking into the collision, it has not been established if alcohol or drugs played a role. But according to early assessments, speed was probably a contributing factor in the collision.
