On September 15, 2024, the body of 32-year-old Brandon Lee Christie was discovered in a forested area close to the Cold Brook public parking lot in Saranac. According to the authorities, foul play is not suspected in his demise.

Christie last spoke with his family on August 31. Christie was reported missing to the Appleton Police Department in Wisconsin on September 9. A search was launched after his black 2016 Mercedes Benz, registered in Wisconsin as ATC1095, was discovered on September 11 in the Cold Brook Public Use Parking Area on Standish Road in the town of Saranac.

Saranac, New York: The 30-year-old Wisconsin man who was last seen close to his car, which was parked at a trailhead in the Cold Brook Public Use Area in the Town of Saranac, is the target of an increased search by the authorities. After losing communication with him on August 31, 2024, the man’s family reported him missing to the Appleton Police Department in Wisconsin on September 9, 2024. He goes by the name Brandon Lee Christie.

It’s been several days since the search began, and numerous agencies have been working closely together. On Sunday morning, the Adirondack Mountain Rescue Team declared on Facebook that they are actively participating in the search. In an effort to find Christie, the crew is collaborating with over a dozen Forest Rangers and the New York State Police.

The black 2016 Mercedes Benz owned by Christie with the Wisconsin license plate ATC1095 was found at the Cold Brook Public Use Parking Area on Standish Road in the Town of Saranac on September 11, 2024, according to confirmation from the New York State Police.

Authorities are asking anyone with knowledge to come forward right away in order to help locate Christie. It’s urgent, and the tiniest tip could be the difference between getting him home. Troop B of the New York State Police is asking anyone with information to call 518-563-3761.
