Person of Interest Identified in Fatal Alpharetta Shooting

A shooting in Alpharetta, Georgia late on Wednesday night at the intersection of Highway 9 and Milton Avenue claimed one life.

When Alpharetta Police arrived at the scene at 11 p.m., they discovered 46-year-old Justin Mourning wounded by a gunshot.

He was treated at a nearby hospital, but he did not make it. A person of interest who is currently at large has been identified by the police.

Through their investigations, the police came to the conclusion that two individuals got into a verbal argument before the shooting.

An individual of interest has been located. Wearing black pants, a helmet, gloves, and a black jacket with white patches, he was seen riding a motorcycle and brandishing a firearm.
